As part of efforts to ensure that young Nigerians achieve success in personal and professional life, Wesley Chapel, Lekki, has announced Sir Anthony Adegbite as the guest speaker for the November edition of its quarterly ‘Words of Wisdom‘ (WoW) motivational programme.
The
event, which will hold on Saturday, at Wesley Chapel’s premises, is
expected to bring young professionals, entrepreneurs and undergraduates
together to listen to Sir Adegbite as he shares his experiences in over
the years.
Previous editions of WoW had eminent personalities such as Ben Akabueze, former Commissioner for Economic and Budget Planning, Lagos State, Tunde Lemo, former Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria and Sir Omotosho, Chairman, Standard Chartered Bank, as guest speakers.
Taking inspiration from the book of Proverbs and the story of Solomon in the Holy Bible, the Words of Wisdom programme enlists eminent citizens to share their personal and career experiences over the years with the younger generation.
Sir Demola Aladekomo, Chairman, SmartCity Resorts Plc and Convener of the Words of Wisdom series said, “The
programme provides a platform for young people the opportunity to learn
from the life experiences of senior executives, administrators, and
entrepreneurs, thereby ensuring that they make the right choices in
life. It equally provides a platform for the business leaders to
encourage the next generation of leaders to take up the gauntlet and
venture into business, remain relevant and surmount the challenges that
lies ahead“.
“More importantly,” he said, “our
guest speaker will use the platform to communicate the need for the
young ones to put their trust in God and not to compromise their faith
whenever they find themselves in difficulties“.
